Ice Hotel

On my last trip to Sweden I met two Canadian architects on the train. They were travelling in Scandinavia for two months, searching for new inspiration. As I am very interested in architecture we ended up discussing it for more than 3 hours, and had a good time.
We discussed all things related to architecture but specially the latest trends in environmental building. Sweden has come far in this field. A good example is Hammarby Sjöstad which won the 2007 Clean Energy Award.
But, I guess the most environmental friendly building in Sweden must be the beautiful Ice Hotel.
It's located in the village Jukkasjärvi, 200 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle, and it gets completely rebuild by snow and ice each winter.
I would love to visit the Ice Hotel some day. It looks cool. As you can see on the photo they even have an Absolut Icebar where you can warm yourself with some crystal clear Vodka.
