Another World

Another World is a 2D cinematic platform game released in 1991 for Amiga 500. I remember it as beeing one of the greatest adventure/platform games I've played. The atmosphere, character animations and story was amazing.
Last year a high resolution collectors edition of the game was released. I've just installed it and started playing the first levels. It's wonderful. It's just as good as I wanted it to be.
I seldom play games nowadays, but this is one I have been looking forward to.
You can download a free demo if you want to see what it's like. On the official site there's also a good article about the making of the game that is worth reading.

It looks extremely familiar, and I thought I had played it on my Atair ST. After a little digging on Wikipedia, I realize that it's not Another World that I've played, but Future Wars! Another great game that Eric Chahi worked on. :)
Update: No, wait. I must have played Another World as well... It looks too familiar. :psmurf:

Yes, it's a great game. Have fun playing it.
Vetle,
Future Wars is also a classic game, but extremely difficult. I remember getting stuck quite early in that game, somewhere in the medieval ages with a lot of monks.

BUT; it is us who were younger then!!! When I was a kid, even the dirtiest stick could have magical powers...
