Rome is a beautiful, historic city but it's also damn hot in the summer.. It was actually so hot that I had to wear my sunglasses at night.

I have always been fascinated by the Roman Empire and it was exiting to visit Rome for real. The city is full of old historic monuments, temples, churches, fountains and more..

It's definetly worth a visit, although it can get expensive because the restaurants try to get all your money if you are a tourist.

It's hard to name my favorite place, but one of the best was the beautiful Fontana di Trevi (photo). It's a very romantic place and if I someday meet a girl I would love to take her there.

The Colosseum was impressive, but if I were the major of Rome I would restore it to its full glory and host extravagant gladiator shows every friday and saturday night. The audience of 70.000 people would cheer and the emperor would show thumbs up or thumbs down to see if the gladiators lived. It would of course only be a show.
