Bistra Haren (The Grim Hare) is the name of my favorite medieval pub. It's located just by Saint Nicolai church ruin and they serve medieval food (such as the poor-man's stew) and drinks outside in the garden. The church ruin is lit up at night and the atmosphere is really nice.

We spend several nights partying at Bistra Haren, but we also went to other places such as Effes, Nordergravar and the medieval camp. And in case you wonder - yes, the whole week is like a long party.

The best thing about the medieval week is that everyone is so friendly and I got to know a lot of new people. I'm not usually a social person, but it's something about Visby that makes me open up. I'll try to remember this feeling more often.
