since july 2007, my wife has run off to be with her dad. he has turned out to be her and my worst nightmare. first it was knee surgery rehab that only she could be there for. 2 months later she returns, then off she goes in october "to find herself"...well it turns out that evil dad is trying to steal her from me any way he can. bribes of property is his biggest snare. 6 other siblings are written off as they become high or low on his shit list. the siblings live near in same town, but do not come around,so my wife is the one to make the sacrifice. 3 times he has insisted she divorce and she has gone along only to come to her senses and foil the plot. he has threatened her kidnapped her with guns in tow and hid out on his property like an outlaw. he is 81 seeing a shrink and drinking a lot recently. supposed to be a minister of sorts. i rescued her in dec 2007, and then again in april 2008......gone again sunday 27 april (left me a short goodbye note) and maybe gone forever. should i be getting out more or just stay home and plant the spring garden?. sports bars and clubs are calling my name.....

"the b.s. factory"
15 april, 2008, oil hits high of $114. a barrel. the price of all goods and services go up and up, eggs are almost $3. a dozen, produce, milk go to record prices and finally the basic staple "corn" sees a use as bio fuel and prices sour. corn makes bread and many other products not to mention it is a feed source for livestock and other uses. gold tops $1,000. for first time in history, with a major drop in the u.s dollar against the very young "euro". govt bails out big bank "bear stearns" amid housing crisis and maybe breaking a few laws in doing so (we can change the law to fit the situation...right?).
over 4.000 soldiers and civilians involved in middle east peace efforts are lost as of 1 april, 2008 and an untold amount of revenue and resources are still being thrown at this monster. politicians argue, about who has the best solution for the situation during leadup to 2008 presidential elections that may see a black man or a woman in the white house for the first time. these politicians are however involved in petty "sandbox" sqaubbles that threaten to cloud all the critical issues facing this nation and the global economy.
among those working the b.s factory assembly line are well known journalists such as tim russert, chris matthews and even larry king has awoken to join the fray. to heck with objectivity, let us break faces and bloody noses, it has caused a frenzy among the masses
and ratings are through the roof. line up well known talking heads from all walks of life to take sides, ex-presidents, military generals, econimist, and experts from many areas while keeping our heads down to avoid the "sniper fire".
the "little guy" is trying to take it all in, every night on the big screen after working hard to prop up what is left of a pre-recession economy. at times we channel surf to sports and good sex scandals just to get away for a moment. just when you think all parties have gone to their respective corner, the bell rings and out they come.....
what if no one votes, will that mean a committee takes over running the show?. tempting as it may seem, we do not dare to miss a chance to be the b.s factor.
