Good testimony! I find that Christians who tithe normally have a stronger faith and give more generously to other causes such as missions than those who don't tithe. I think tithing liberates us from the our dependence on money so that we are free to pursue our trust in God.

More testimonies to come in future postings. I hope and pray that somebody is helped by them.

Through tithing i see breakthrough in my work, family. He creates a way where there is none. His faithfulness to us is eternal.

Where we live we see tithes disappear for pastor 's own luxury life. This is a common feature. As a result I do not pay my tithes, in fact I haven't done so except on few occasions.
I heard many ppl saying that tithes are an essential part to prosperity, and those who give out millions receive hundreds of millions.
If you have pastors who enrich themselves, driving flashy cars, lead a fancy lifestyle, where does one s tithes end up ?
Is it correct to assume that your intention to pay is enough to receive the blessing from god ? In this case it does not matter if the pastor or pastors squander the tithes on their own.
I would love to know your opinion on this.

When we offer our offerings at the alter, God receives them. How the money is spend we don't know. If the pastors mismanage the money judgement is upon them. They will give an account to God. It is good to tithe. It is part of the Christian life.

I am a pastor and I live far from a flashy life. Until recently my cars were 21 years and 18 years old- then two people in my church sold property and gave me enough to buy a new 8- seater van which we use mainly for the ministry.

My house is modest and needs tens of thousands of dollars in repairs.

I'm not complaining, but showing the other side of the case with pastors. I think more live in humble circumstances than there are who misuse the tithes.

We will not judge, God will. Do we wish to live lavishly when our pastors suffer? We should support them in ministry. Blessed is the hand that gives.
