Falling behind

Alright.... so as ashar mentioned in an old post of mine (about 2 weeks old now! OMGSH RIGHT? totally. and no. i dont talk like that normally. It's 1:25 in the morning... what do you expect) anyways, so yeah i actually had a valid reason, and I'm not making this up as i go along [a note to all of those not interested in this post... stop reading now. its all about gaming and then some about the zune, random parts are shit anyways.... oh well, more posts to come that are more directed towards you guys... dont worry]
anyways so i played mgs4 for a few hours, really love the game more than ever, cept it could really go without the... you know, perverted parts. i know you clicked those links. lol.
anyways yeah great gameplay on that, love all the Easter eggs and codec calls, though some of them really dis up the xbox 360 and the north American continent in general. the actual game is pretty good too! graphics are amazing, really long gameplay and all that stuff.... blu ray and ps3 are shining in all their glory here. and me, an almost die hard 360 fan (no not a fanboy, just a fan. learn ur differences) is saying that PS3 is actually just as good as the 360.
To compare the two i played both campaign and multi player on Battlefield: Bad Company both ps3 and xbox360 for about two hours each... and i must say, the 360 controller and control layout is better in much regards, more ergonomic. and in ps3 you shoot with R1, wtf, who does non-analog shooting! for the single player, i couldn't see a difference, even in graphics or audio quality. felt like playing the same thing twice. multi player, same as single player, cept i liked the 360 community better, and even made a few friends on my profile... whereas ps3... well, there's no sense of community for some reason... it just donest feel like jumping in to a network of millions. sigh. maybe its the fact that you pay for the gold so you try to enjoy it more mentally
As far as 2.40 and 2.41 goes (yeah 2.41 has been released for all of you that have a ps3) i would listen to in game custom music like i did the whole time while playing the 360... but random fucking games dont have fucking patches! omg, i could totally deal with that! in game xmb was great though, but after 2 years of "guide" it kinda just felt natural for it to be there.... cept it was much faster, and it was the whole deal... maybe an in game dashboard would be cool too.... i dont even know about it. i also played an
but yeah, at the end of the day, i find that ps3 and xbox360 are practically the same thing, their features would level out, thier prices would level out, pretty much everything's makes them end up even... so all those people sill out there arguing, how about we get together in the name of gamer-kind. All this makes me wonder though, as "gamerkind" isn't it kinda mean to still look down upon that oh so cheap console (Im talking about our friend Nintendo... not the 360 with the $50+ price drop it had today, making it EVEN cheaper than it already was, as compared to its competitor sony). I dont hate the wii, i just dont find it a gaming console at all. i mean, its a fun little toy, but nothing more.
but, moving on to some tech competition that actually involved some major ass whoppin, the Zune, in my openion, totally owns the iPod (and no, i have no got hands on time with the iPhone 3G yet, and i know iPod Touch and iPhone are completely amazing, and kinda pwn the Zunes... but well... im talking normal iPods here).
The graphic user interface of a zune is so ownage, that you cant get enough of browsing around. well, i cant, thats why i was on it all 36 hours. i love the headphones too, and thier magnets that make them stick. i find the audio quality better than apple headphones. it's naviagation thingy (im talking 8gb model here that has a finger pad, not the 30 gig ones with buttons) is so much better than ipod scroll wheels. i really didnt think one could do much better than that, but well... they did it! not to mention the zune software, though lacking some major things, pretty much gives iTunes a pretty major punch to the face as well. And now that the zune is in Canada, i might actually get it! espeically since my ipod screen broke. That's all the tech update needed for today, i know it was a long read but hey... thats what you get when i havent updated for 12 days. be sure to leave some comments. i love your comments. oh and just for the heck of it... here's a random edit i tried to do on piknic (i dont have photoshop anymore... more on that later)
