Very true what you say ohmarrow, the lady in the video is direct and to the point, which is the reason I thought it was interesting, and I should post it. In my circle of friends, I am the only atheist, with many being "religious" (a belief in god(s)) and others being active in their respective churches. Though we are friends, and I am accepted for my beliefs, I often get that "I feel sorry for you because you don't believe in god(s)." Ironically, this is often how I feel for those who do believe in god(s), since I do not understand how anyone can truly believe in any creation story, that said that does not mean I don't feel you have the right to believe in god(s), it just means I don't understand your beliefs. I guess, since I've run the gamut from devout christain to non-believer, I would suppose all adults (like the girl in the video) would undergo the same transformation, kinda how a kind stops believing in santa as they grow older. Either way, this is an interesting subject, and I always find it interesting to find what people have to say, so thanks for the comment.

well if you think about people need hope and " god " gives this hope only when you find out that you dont need that hope do ever stop believeing in god ...
and i know how you feel about your friends all my friend but 1 are religes but they all know how i feel about religen i have nothing agants it but it not for me

iam an artis and all my friend ask my to paint the cross but there are two thing i dont paint religen and the govenrment

and i what to know how our government can say they keep riliegan out of the governmemt when we still say in god we trust and so much more if you ever get a chance look at all the diffearnt religes stuff in the goernment

that's i think is the crutch many people use when it comes to religion, which is odd to me, but growing up in a culture dominated in this "spirit" it is persuasive i guess...regarding religion and politics, i cannot believe that someone like Mike Huckabee is running for president...the dude doesn't believe in evolution and we expect him to run the u.s., makes me laugh when we see the decline in education in the u.s., seriously relgion and politics need to be as separate as a lit match and a gallon of gasoline. cheers, sorry i didn't see your response yesterday. cheers!

if you do some research youll see that the bible does have some truth to it
but i feel that a most of it was blone way out of praporshion and its that that has so may people sorry to say brine washed

good points there ohmarow, i would agree with what you have said above. the use of the bible as an inspired word seems odd, especially considering those who take it as a literal translation. i do think the bible has some good points regarding how one should live their life, but to call it an inspired word is a far stretch for me - of course, this is just my opinion.

lol, damn i sure get that a lot, i'm not quite 30, but i've been told i'm any where from 35 to 70...guess, mentally i'm not, but physically i often feel like it.

all tho i was thinking what if a ghost is just energy it not all that hard to think that maybe energy can change to fit its needs

the brain uses thunder to do every think you do the thunder in your brain keeps you alive and its that thunder that holds your thounght and memorys and if real thunder can more from on object to another then why not the thunder in the brain
