Random Thoughts. Collection #963945

,

My idea of hell, I realised today would be a really tasty meal with mixed vegetables. I hate peas and I have to work really hard to remove each and every pea before eating the rest of the vegetables! When I get down to see my old pal Lucifer, this will be my eternal hell prepared especially for me.

Peas + tomatoes (but not tomato puree of other tomato - based products) are the work of Satan himself!

I also realised something I really like today. When you drive at night and you look in your rear view mirror and you have to squint because it's pitch black behind you and there are no cars! It looks like your mirror is broken! What I love is night driving with no headlights glaring at me from behind!

Random questions of the day:

Why are cyclists so evil? They are the slowest to set off at traffic lights yet they always move to the front!

Why do VW polos have such a boring interior until you turn on the head lights? I think the dashboards lights should be on all the time! It actually looks half-decent with them on!

Social experiment over... The Results You've All Been Dying to Know!I'm sure there's something to blog about somewhere around here....

:eyes: Yesterday I was complaining about how me mum tricked me into eating peas in the soup because I didn't notice. I have never ever eaten peas, until yesterday.

Can you post a pic of the VW Polo model in the UK? Cuz the ones here, I find them not so bad nervous

Oh, hold on, I have a better nervous face...

I like peas. Hate tomatoes, but love everything tomato flavoured.

I hate peas - they make my physically ill. Marrowfat peas don't, though - I actually like them.

Tomatoes I can eat - I don't like them but I don't wretch. Peas actually make me wretch!

I eat tomatoes if I am in formal dinners, but would never buy them for my home made meals. Neither fresh nor dried [Was that a double negative?!? Or was that correct. So much for my English classes at school]. But I do like tomato ketchup and all other forms you can have tomatoes in. So I am like Spaggyj then

Can I add corn to the list as well? I don't fancy corn in any form either, but again I would eat them if I found myself in a formal dinner.

@Dan - didn't mean to ignore you - I was gonna take a pic today but couldn't get hold of a camera.

Trust me - it's ugly until you turn the pretty purple + red lights on!

I am no biggy on veggies! I know that they rate high on the nutritional diet chart. But either they need to roasted, fried or sauted beyond recognition and then heavily flavoured or pureed and spiced for me to eat them!

So dude, right now you have all my sympathies!

Firstly - how is your English so good? You type way better than a lot of people here in the UK! Have you ever lived in a country with English as a primary language? I know you work for a magazine but your English is better than mine!

Mashed veg works good, too. Mmmm... mashed carrots + swede with gravy... hhhmmmm...

I have learnt all my English right here in India. Maybe I just had a very good english teacher!

And then again I did pick up some bits from the books I so often read...
