Frog Princess

My daughter has to stay after school for marching band practise and then play practise, since then my son has been staying after too. (He's the oldest) He overheard a conversation between his sister's boyfriend and another band member and he misconstrued it. Jacob was talking about kissing my daughter (which makes me sick) but my son thought it was about sex, my son and Jacob had a stare down and my daughter sided with her boyfriend and told her brother to go away because nobody liked him. She thought he was being petty, while he thought he was defending her honor. I told her she was lucky that her brother wasn't like one of mine, if someone did a stare down with my brother Terry, he would have been dead. Instead, my son sucked it up and just walked to work. The last thing my daughter said to her brother was, "Go, away nobody likes you!" with tons of people watching. So in his heart, he was defending his sister's honor, only to have her spit in his face and mock him. It wasn't til later that my daughter learned her brother thought they were talking about sex. He acted like a brother should have when he thought someone was talking out of turn, but because of her reaction without getting facts, he might be slow to do so when she really needs him too.
