The fourth fair of wood mobilize U.S. $ 1.8 million

The fourth version of the International Wood Fair (FIMA) will be held from 7 to 10 April in La Paz in the Coliseum in July Borelli. With the participation of over 140 exhibitors and is expected to generate an economic movement of approximately $ 1.8 million during its performance.

Companies participate in this event in La Paz, El Alto, Cochabamba, Santa Cruz, Oruro and Sucre, and abroad. The second exhibition will go to the home furniture, office, kitchen, children's furniture, youth furniture, outdoor furniture, hospital, ancillary furniture, doors, floors, decking and other woodwork.

Ballivian said that "it is very important to promote this industry. In Bolivia there are approximately 18,000 carpenters, of which 9,000 are located in the cities La Paz and El Alto. Generated 100,000 direct and indirect jobs fairs are the best tool to promote and market their production. "

IMB, five years of support to sector


The Bolivian cabinet Institute (IMB) supports producers in wood since 2006 and since then it has organized 17 national trade fairs.

Waldo Ballivián, executive director of the IMB, said the objective of the institution is to contribute directly to the development of the sector to facilitate strategic alliances and promoting new and better suppliers of inputs to the forestry and furniture. It seeks to improve, thus, competitiveness of enterprises.

The fair will go to dealers, traders, carpenters, industrial wood and upholstery manufacturers, architects, engineers, students of technical courses, college and general public who wish to observe the quality and buy new furniture designs at affordable prices and competitive.

Naturally, the fair, exhibitors may make known its products or services through lectures, demonstrations and direct contact with the public and stakeholders.

They may meet potential business partners to grow their enterprises, businesses or companies.

Promote and advertise their companies and products.

Visitors, meanwhile, will find in one place a number of suppliers of a product and have the option to choose the most convenient prices, furniture made with high technology or trained to use their money in the best possible way.
