Hinduism: It is the world’s thirth religion that widely believed. Also ıt is the main religion in India. They believe in three in one God known as “Brahman” which is composed of Brahma (The creator) Vishnu (Preserver) Shiva (the destroyer). One of the oldest aspects of Hınduism is as much social as religious and that is the Caste System. There are four Castes or social classes. Each Cast has its own rules and obligation for living.
The elit caste is the Brahman or priest caste.
Second one is the Kshatriyas or warriors and rulers.
Third are the Vaisyas or merchants and farmers.
Fourth caste is Shudras or laborers.
They believe in Karma the law that good begets good bad begets bad.Every action is thought as a decision one make has consequences.Good or bad that will return to each person in the present life or in one yet to come.
They also believe in Reincarnation. It is known as “transmigration of souls” or “samsara”.This is a journey on the “circle of life” where each person experiences as series of physical births, deaths and rebirths. With good Karma a person can be reborn into a higher caste,or even to good.Bad karma can relegate one to a lower caste or even to life as an animal in their next life.
Nirvana is the goal of Hındu .It is the release of the soul from the seemingly endless cycle of rebirth. This is the only possible way to end our sufferings.
Moreover they belive in cow as a god. They make use of ıts milk, butter, cheese and etc.. ıt is very important for them.As there is not any god which represents the cow they believe in ıtself.Killing a cow equals with killing the God.
Ganga is important in Indians beliefs. When someone dies, they burn his/her body and sprinkle ıts cinder to the Ganga. That’s why they believe that he/she gains freedom.
While we are searching Indian’s religion we encounter with very surprising and different beliefs from ours.We believe in neither Karma nor Reincarnation. We never pray an animal or effigy such as Budha. These beliefs are forbidden in our religion.
