Opera Google toolbar
Thursday, 15. June 2006, 22:15:02
happy to anounce my Google toolbar for Opera. I hope you like it. It's in the gallery now http://my.opera.com/community/customize/widgets/info/?id=4282
Here is the old version with the old post:
googletoolbar_widget.zip
It's sill is pretty simple but it's all I need.
It's made for 1250px desktop. If you need it to be smaller change the values or post a request below.
Instructions
Unzip/extract the files into a folder named googletoolbar then drop the config.xml into opera9.I'm sure the real version will be available in the widget gallery under the correct mime-type. I just don't know how to do that from here.
Everything else should be self-explanatory. If you can manage to install the widget you can figure out how it works(I have faith in you) The toolbar fits over the windows title bar leaving enough room to close your applications. Configurations it doesn't have jet. Please do, request the features you would like to see below.
I hope you enjoy the google toolbar for Opera. I know I will.
About
Originally, I was thinking to add large scripts and make it call-home aggressively so that I can have it sort the buttons by click ratio. That would be neat, A live poll that updates the structure dynamically, that would be a lot of work for the much hated call-home "feature". I also didn't include a search box because I strongly feel we don't need it.Get more widgets here:

You can also request widgets in the forum, keep in mind Opera widget don't interact with the website like userscript do. They are much like cute, small & static webpages. Only more pretty.
Why not make your own? huh?
I love to think that javascript is not as complicated as some would have you beleave. I insist it's because the speaker is dumb, thats why he can say things like that. Difficult is a point of view, there is nothing static about this data. Maybe the speaker cant explain things so well?
It depends entirely on the student. Sure, learining A new language could be hard if you are old and bugged? I have old and bugged people on my blog now?
I thought this was a great read:
'Learning Learning' In this corner of the OLPC Wiki I want to discuss all the big ideas about Learning.

Looking for words on the images I've used in the toolbar, I bumped into this:
Never settle for the best, Google has persistently pursued innovation and pushed the limits of existing technology.... Great just isn't good enough. Always deliver more than expected. Google does not accept being the best as an endpoint, but a starting point.http://www.google.com/corporate/tenthings.html
Here are some pre-chewed javascript lesions.
