The ground shakes in eager expectation as the battle unfolds.
The eyes of the world turns to the battlefield in childish curiosity.
Opponents stand face to face. A silence takes over as the anxious wait starts.
Finally the starting whistle blows and .......

Hi! I'm from the Philippines. Football is not popular here but I still love football because it is the sport I love since my elementary school days. Now, I'm working for a bank.
I followed the World Cup since 1978 where Argentina won. Ever since, I love the Brazilian team because they bring carnival-like football in the world cup. From Zico in 1982 to Ronaldo in 2002, I can say I'm a Brazilian at heart.

Other then that, who doesn't like watching 'The Canaries' dance on the field? IMO, They turn soccer into an art rather than a sport, at some point you stop cheering for them in start staring in AWE at how beautiful the game can be played. I can't wait!

im gearin myself up for 30 days of football/beer heaven. as my country aint there(coz we r shite) so i will be following the mighty................................... BRAZIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the reason being that when they play .......................
THEY FUKKIN PLAY GREAT..
so as i gear myself up for the best 30 days of the year so far i sit here and think to myself...........................................

Great tribute/ballad to the all-uniting game thats football. I seriously hope the childlike curiosity stays alive just like this for all the 30 days of GREAT fanfare and carnival.
