About me
Hi, I'm a third year business student from the suburbs Adelaide, who eats breakfast everyday....almost. Early in life, I discovered that eating crusts doesn't give you curly hair....so I continue eating crusts, because that's the best part! :-)I am in Germany until late October.
I don't know why I made this blog, but people seem to read it and I enjoy writing about nothing, so I'll keep doing it :-)
I DO NOT want to live in Adelaide for the rest of my life!
I like:
Coconut custard tarts. Arthur. Curry. English crime/comedy. Brit rock. Watermelon. Yellow. The smell of toast. The Panel. Socks. Germany. Beach. Sketching. Hiking. Daydreaming. Sleeping. Powderfinger. Camp fires. Spicks and Specks. Godology. China Town. Roasting marshmellows. ABC. Tea. Stollen. Vegemite on crusty rolls. Scarves. Steel drums. The sound of crickets. Rage. Sunsets. Grapes. SBS. Rainbows. Laughng. Hot chocolate. Backpacks. Tripe J. The Oxfam shop. Piano. Breakfast. The metric system. Not feeling sad. Laksa. Proper ham. Sleeping bags. Nutella and orange. Fruit toast. Black. Gum trees. Free food. Having something to smile about. Tea. Jatz crackers. Porridge. Food on toothpicks. Honey on toast.
I don't like:
Stupid people. Bogans. Cold weather. Snow. Plain milk. It when people wear stuff that doesn't fit them. People singing on the bus. Going on the bus to work. Dial-up internet. Internet Explorer. MySpace. Cheese Twisties. Being poor. Cakes with lots of whipped cream on them. Cloves.
My fellow bloggers reckon, if I was a food, I'd be watermelon! However, I have been told that if I was a vegetable, I'd be a capsicum and if I was an animal, I'd be a cat or maybe I would be a mouse.
And to set things straight, I am not a Lord of the Rings fan. I just happen to like the name. And I don't know how to changce it so there you go ;) And I do want to change it...but I'm too lazy to find out HOW
My work
As above, I'm a commerce student...Who actually doesn't think she wants to be an accountant....meh, it's something to do during the day. When I'm finished my degree, I'll have a nice looking $15,000+ debt on my back! Wont that be fun!? I think once I've finished my degree, I'd like to do a course in teaching English as a second language. I don't want to sit behind a desk all day and have someone yelling at me to work faster to increase shareholder wealth. But that's probbaly what I'll end up doing....I used to be a bar tender. This position consists of pouring beer, mixing drinks, picking up glasses, wiping tables, putting up with idiots, going to bed at 5.15am Sunday morning. This job scarred me for life.
I used to be a student guide. It's the best job EVER! All I have to do is be nice to new international/exchange students, make them feel welcome and help them around the uni :)
Currently, I have no job.
