Christmas Shoppers

I went to a shopping centre today. Can't say shopping centres are my favourite places.

According to what I witnessed today and on other occasions, I think people's brains must go to sleep as soon as they step into a shopping complex.

1. In Australia we drive on the LEFT. When you're in a shopping centre, why not walk on the left so that the people FLOW?
2. Walk briskly
3. Do NOT stop in the middle of the walkway!
4. Prams should be banned form shopping centres. Why do people take prams into bookshops? The prams do not fit between the shelves.
5. You have eyes, therefore, look where you are going so that you do not walk INTO me.
6. If you smell, wear some deodorant or have a shower.

After nearly being seriously injured and passing out from someone's body odour, I didn't even find the book I was looking for :frown:

Flight of the Conchords - Inner City Pressure

The random German word of the day is... *drumroll....*
Federmäppchen = Pencil case

Huh?

I had a blood test yesterday. The results came through today and the doctor rang my house to tell me the results. I wasn't home and my mother answered the phone. The doctor asked my mother if she was infact my mother and then told her the results.

Is this allowed? Isn't this a breach of confidentiality?

I NEVER gave him permission to discuss anything with my parents or anyone else. Ok, so he told my mum I have a low platelet count, which doesn't sound like much, but it's the VIBE of it (I don't know if that even makes sense, but I just wanted to write 'it's the vibe' and show you this video)

I made Kalter Hund (!!!) tonight as it's my dad's birthday tomorrow:) We'll go to a pub (yes, how classy) for tea.

My exercise plan is not going so well at the moment:( I'm back to power walking *cry*

Another day.... and the boredom continues.

It is December 6, which means it is Nikolaustag! However, this is not celebrated in Australia. Actually, not much is celebrated here. The biggest event in Adelaide in the past 10 years was (a) The IKEA opening or (b) the zoo getting some pandas from China :|

Letter boxes

How much junk mail can one fit into a letter box? Lots.

This is a letter box...or used to be a letter box....It's funny to watch the postman trying to put the letters into it!

Yes, it's the random German word!!!

the letter box = der Briefkasten
Brief = letter
Kasten = box
