Back to school

My sister went back to school today, after being on holiday since late November. She’s in her final year…which means she’ll actually have to do some work! :O
The magazines and paper have been doing ‘back to school tips’ sections. I thought I’d make up my own, because the 40yr olds who write these sections don’t know anything about school!
Kimbers' Back to School Tips
1.If you let your mum/dad buy your uniform, they’ll buy one that is too big.
2.Whoever buys you the too-big-uniform is wrong; you’ll NEVER grow into it!
3.Only backpackers can pull off the really-high-backpack look. Older students make fun of younger students who wear their backpack too high.
4.Don’t copy the older students and wear your backpack really low. It looks stupid, you wont be able to stand up straight and you’ll look like a turtle.
5.You DON’T need a laptop for school!
6.500GB storage devices are not essential for school aged children.
7.It IS possible to use the same stationery all through high school!
8.If you lend stuff to people, you probably wont get it back.
9.If you are not an art student, you don’t need coloured pencils after grade 9.
10.Lunchboxes are unnecessary and take up too much room. Just put your lunch straight into your bag. (Don’t do this with youghurt though…it will leak and go all over your text books and your text book will smell funny for the rest of the year)
11.If you are a get good grades, do your work, ask questions and pay attention, the teachers will like you and you will NEVER get into trouble.
12.If you have older siblings, try to get better grades than them. If you don’t, they are allowed to pick on you.
13.White bread is not a nutritional lunch.
14.Be nice to the exchange students.
15.Get a small pencil case when you go to high school, because the desks are very small.
16.You CAN check your emails at school. Just say you are sending your documents to yourself aka ‘backing up your files’
17.Make friends with some smart people.
18.You will never look good in a school photo no matter how your hair looks or how much make up you troweled onto your face in the morning.
19.If you are sick, you can still go to school. Spread thelove germs! 
20. Cucumber and cheese sandwiches on a hot day are not a good idea...unless you like soggy cheese sandwiches...

3. I made fun of the younger kids with high backpacks.
4. My sister used to look like a turtle.
5 and 6. I didn't have one and got 90%
7. I have been using the same pencils since year 8.
8. Some people stole my stuff in primary school.
9. I never used coloured pencils at school.
10. I stopped using my lunchbox, and then my sister stole it...it even has MY name on it. My friend's youghurt spilt on her book. It stank, so she sprayed perfume on it, but it didn't do anything.

12. I will stop picking on my sister if she gets better grades...I don't want her to though!!
13. I believe white bread is evil.
14. I like exchange students and foreign people becasue they're usually nice and interesting

16. The school blocked Hotmail, but everyone complained 'But we use it to back up our work' so they ahd to un-block it

18. I look like an idiot in all school photos. My sister looks like she is on drugs in her year 8 photo
19. I had 100% attendance in 2006...and I got sick too!
20. I used to eat soggy cheese sandwiches...becasue I didn't have a lunchbox!
