Snake, happy and two songs

Saturday’s walk was particularly exciting. I learnt that you should never walk on little tracks by yourself. Why? You might get bitten by a snake! My dad stopped to tie up his shoe on a rock...and there was an Eastern Brown Snake (second most deadly snake in the world
My dad had his camera with him but the shot he took isn’t the best.. I guess when a deadly snake is in front of you, you don’t really have time to work out the ‘rule of 3rds’, calculate where any shadows will be, set up a tripod etc etc.

I finished work at 1am this morning. I started at 6pm and it wasn't very busy so they let me go home. I would have stayed there for extra money though! I got home and my dad and I were talking in the kitchen:
*Kimbers is happy and laughing*
The dad of Kimbers: Were you drinking at work?
Kimbers: No.
The dad of Kimbers: Oh...you just seem really happy!

Two songs:
Somersault from Zero 7
If I ever feel better from Pheonix

Australia is a strange but interesting continent, because there are much of the most poisonous animals on just one continent. For example the top 3 of most deadly snakes. I know the most poisonous is the "Fierce Snake" followed by "Eastern Brown Snake" and "Coastal Taipan".
I also read the "sea wasp" in the sea is one of the most poisonous "creature" on earth. And therefore it's very dangerous to swim outside limited swim areas.
Very strange, especially for a European. But also very interesting to read.
Best wishes,
Heiko

It's not very common to see snakes. I haven't seen one (I didn't see the one in this post, only heard it move). Some people who live near the hills say that the snakes go through the dog doors and go into their houses! That'd be really scary!!

in this case I know more than some Australian people? Wow!
Well I watched some TV documentations about that topic. That's the reason why heard this.
By the way. One TV docu was guided of a (famous?) man. Maybe you know him? It's "Rob Bredl" alias "The Barefoot Bushman".
Best wishes,
Heiko
