Fruit Salad and Mixed Veg

... blogging the suburbs since 2005...

Lately...

, , , , , , , ,

Some things that have happened lately:

  • I got sick at work on Saturday night. I wasn't feeling well so I drank a lot of water. I still didn't feel well. Then everything started getting darker...and I got dizzy...my skin felt like it had ants crawling over it... Sat down for a while and still felt horrible, so I went home. I feel better now though

  • On Friday, I was at a masked ball (although I didn't wear a mask). I learnt that it's really hard to walk in high shoes if you have tights on, because they make the shoes slippery.

  • This Friday, there is a BIG party at a mansion in Adelaide (100+ people). The theme is 'dress as something beginning with F'. I was going to go as a fax machine...but I changed my mind and will now be a fairy.

  • I'm still doing exercise WOAH!! :D I can now run without getting puffed out after 1 minute

  • I have been accepted to a German university as an exchange student *jump jump*

  • In 1 month, I'll be in Germany :D

  • I have exams in 2 weeks...I've started learning but it's going to be hard because all my subjects are FINAL YEAR subjects and I'm not in my final year :frown:

That's all for today. Take care of yourselves and make sure to read 'use by' labels

Oh dear, did expired food make you sick? :worried:

Great news about your exchange

:eyes: two weeks to exams?!? Your year seems to have gone really quickly.

Oh no haha. The expired food message and me getting sick are unrelated. I just wanted to put something weird at the end of the post

Yep it's really great news!

It has! It's nearly Christmas!

Mickeyjoe_irl 4. November 2008, 20:29

It worked, I do think it's weird. :D

I know, how quickly has this year gone :S I can't believe it's November already. Ridiculous. Also that sickness really does not sound good! Good that you sat down/ went home though, and it's good that you're better now! :) Good luck for exams!

Mickey - I am weird.

Sez- Hi Sez! I have to study :frown: How many exams do you have?

Mickeyjoe_irl 7. November 2008, 21:32

Birds of a feather...

galadriel 7. November 2008, 23:17

Eh? I've never heard this expression before...

Jonnsen 9. November 2008, 16:52

Where will you be in Germany?

galadriel 10. November 2008, 11:51

Mickey- I understand it now. My dad showed me a show called 'Birds of a Feather' on YouTube yesterday. It was pretty funny.

Jonnsen- Hey, you're still here! :D I'll be in Frankfurt, Duesseldorf, Stuttgart, and maybe in the north...and Berlin I hope and Sweden as well. But for my exchange I'll be in BW.

Jonnsen 10. November 2008, 16:45

Düsseldorf is not far from me:)
And with BW you mean Baden-Würtemberg?

galadriel 10. November 2008, 21:51

So if you go to Duesseldorf and see some girl walking around, looking really cold, that's me

Yep, Wuertemberg is too hard to spell
