I tried

I just tried to write something intelligent...but I failed :frown: It started off well, about human nature...serious things...analysing people...and then it turned into a very stereotypical piece of writing :frown:

In other news:

To challenge myself, I am reading 'Farm der Tiere', 'Animal Farm', by George Orwell, in German  I've never read the book before, however, I have seen the movie. I was too young at the time to completely understand it though....all I remember from the movie, is that the pigs ate the jam. The book is about communism, and eventhough how everyone is 'equal', some people are more equal than others. According to Time Magazine, it is one of the best 100 English novels. So, I guess I will have something intelligent to say when I complete the book.

In the Eastern Bloc both Animal Farm and later, also Nineteen Eighty-Four were on the list of forbidden books up until die Wende in 1989, and were only available via clandestine Samizdat networks. (Wikipedia)

I also have the book 'The Awful German Language/Die Schreckliche deutsche Sprache' by Slovenly Peter. I haven't read much of it, but it seems to be interesting...All the left hand pages are in English and all the right hand pages are in German, which is helpful. My German is improving...it is a difficult language to master. The hardest word to say is 'bowl', 'die Schüssel'. I always say 'Schluessel', which means 'key'....

One of my Swedish friends knows the guy who created the song 'Bag in da Box', which was a Summer hit in Sweden. The same guy also made the song 'It's a Christmas Tree', which is exactly the same as 'Bag in the Box', except it's about a Christmas tree...and not a bag in a box.

Prepackaged, refridgerated hamburgers....

This game is so cool. You can play it anywhere and it really makes you think. There are many ways to win.

Warning: Do not play 3D Muehle near a pond...However, the pieces do float
