Vegemite, the famous Aussie (now owned by KRAFT) bread spread.... KRAFT recently introduced a 'new' Vegemite, same idea as 'new coke' or whatever it was called. Aparantly the new spread doesn't require butter and has a creamier taste. The naming of the 'New Vegemite' was left to the public and the name 'iSnack2.0' won. Who was on the judging panel? It sounds like something I would buy from an electronics shop, not a supermarket.

It was interesting to read this article and WHY the new Vegemite was brought onto the market....

It began with research more than a year ago showing Vegemite sales had stagnated and were starting to shrink as Australia's growing immigrant population, which had not grown up with the dark-brown spread on the breakfast table, shunned its unique and rather acquired taste.

I just noticed something...I LIKE Vegemite and I NEVER had a 'breakfast table'. I don't think I have ever eaten breakfast at a table with my family.
