I went to McFit in Bielefeld. The machines there are slightly older than the ones in Hamburg...so I wasn't quite sure how to use them. I did 20 minutes on the cross trainer and burnt 200 calories...Why are calories still on the machine? They're PRE-SI, PRE-SI!!!
What is a joule?
(Wikipedia)The joule (symbol J), named for James Prescott Joule, is the derived unit of energy in the International System of Units. It is the energy exerted by a force of one newton acting to move an object through a distance of one metre. In terms of dimensions:

After Mcfitting, I met my favourite German in the city centre and we bought fitness bars and chocolate...and then went grocery shopping. We went to Aldi where everything is very cheap as it is a discount supermarket. Ah, I'm going to miss discount supermarkets when I go back
The 'new' Ritter Sport, "Olympia" with youghurt, honey nut and 'traubenzucker'...sugar? It's good, very good, but a little too sweet...still didn't stop me eating 3/4 of the bar
Marzipan Mmmm espresso marzipan from Niederegger. They know how to make marzipan.
For lunch we ate a gulasch type meal. The meat was a little tough, but it was good to eat meat. I harldy eat any meat here.
In the evening we watched 'Calendar Girls'. It's a funny movie
There was a small get-together at the WG. One girl told me she used to be an au pair in Ireland and it was an extremely bad experience. Everyone who has been an Au pair always says it was bad, yet so many people do it.
