Cover Letters

I'm currently aplying for jobs online and have a question about cover letters.

If I apply for a job at Subway, or a job from which I will not make a living from, am I supposed to upload a cover letter?

If I applied for Subway, what would I write?

"I have always dreamt of working at Subway. My ambition is to become store manager of subway and to master the art of slicing vegetables"

I have just been uploading my resume...

I'm bored and tired. That's why I am on the internet at the moment :frown: Yes, I am LIVING LIFE to the MAX!

I write a lot of stuff which involves me complaining about things, so I thought I would write about some stuff that I like.

Versunke-aepfel-kuchen : Sunken apple cake

Apple cake

The base recipe is from this book.

When I left Germany, I received two lovely cooking books  Yesterday I baked a cake from the baking book.

Ingredients
250g butter
250g sugar
4 eggs
400g flour
1 tea spoon baking powder
2 apples
Cinamon
Extra sugar

Use room temperature ingredients.

I used a little less butter, sugar and flour than in the recipe. I used two apples, but I think three would have been better, as the cake would have been jucier.

What to do
1. Line your springform baking tin with paper or grease with butter and flour.
2. Cream butter and sugar.
3. Add the eggs one at a time and mix after each.
4. Combine the flour and baking powder in a separate bowl and then mix into the butter mixture.
5. Place the mixture into the baking tin.
6. Peel and quarter apples and then spread them over the mixture.
7. Sprinkle the top with cinamon and sugar.
8. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 190 degrees Celcius for 60 minutes, or until the cake is not runny in the middle.
