At around 6 I went to the ‘Launch of the Zine Resource Room’, in the old Balfour’s (a pastry company) factory. During the Fringe Festival, the resource room will be a place where zine creators can photocopy their material. On March 15 and 16, there will be a Zine Fair and workshops on blogging and writing.
The launch was really enjoyable. There were free drinks and watermelon in the very retro looking bar. We also went on a tour of the factory, which will be used as a venue during the Fringe. I was trying to figure out what rooms the pies were made in and what rooms the cakes were made in, but couldn’t figure it out. I met two bloggers who wrote about a politician. The politician must google himself, and found the blog...
The retro bar
After about an hour I walked to the Griffin’s Head pub for an exchange/international student event. I think I drank 4 glasses of water, with lemon. I really like water with lemon, and it’s also turned into a hobby for me. It’s so much fun stabbing the lemon with the straw…you don’t find it funny? I think it’s an Australian thing

Shaun (or perhaps it's Sean) The Sheep also had fun at the pub and read all about the Fringe
At 10.30, I met my dad at the Garden of Unearthly Delights as I had free tickets to see Nick Sun- Tear Out Your Eyes. If I had spent my hard earned money on those tickets, I would have been VERY disappointed. My uni tutor was also there, and seemed disappointed. My friend and her boyfriend don’t know rule 1 of the ‘Lets see a comedian’ rule book; Don’t sit in the front row. They also had free tickets and got picked on. The last 10 minutes of the show was Nick (if that’s his real name) yelling into the microphone, with an echo turned on. Not fun.
Anyway, the Garden is a really nice place to be. All the staff are so friendly and happy! I think I'd be extra happy if I worked there too. There are lights everywhere a carousel, a freak show, a club made from shipping containers….

Hold on!!

I so want a job where I get paid for dressing up
