February?

In this blog post:

I have to wait until February, before my teeth can be pulled out
I went to a funeral today
I also went to the doctor today

Wisdom Teeth

Today I rang the surgeon to make an appointment. I need my wisdom teeth taken out. One is infected and makes me cry :frown:
The next available appointment is February 3rd. I am covered by private health insurance...but it doesn't seem to help. I eat baby food, watermelon and cereal because it hurts to eat everything else...no one cares.... At least I can lose weight.

Funeral

My dad, grandfather and I went to a funeral today. However, we had never met the man who had died. We never knew he existed. He has the same last name as us, so we went to find out who he was. I went for entertainment purposes because I'm so broed. The chapel was also airconditioned

Doctor

This morning I was bored, so I decided to go to the doctor. It's cool there and I had nothing better to do. I had a 'check up' which only consists of
1. Listening to the heart
2. Feeling around the throat
3. Checking blood pressure
4. Looking inside mouth

How can that check if someone is healthy?!

I then wanted a blood test...and had to wait for the nurse to take my blood...it took too long so I went home and will go back first thing Monday. I had a number and was waiting for the nurse to call my number...then a woman with two children came along and went in before me! She didn't even have a number. UGH! This woman also changed the nappy of her child on the chairs in the waiting room EWWWW. There is such a thing as a bathroom. Just because you have a young child, it doesn't mean that hygeine rules don't apply to you.

I also noticed that most of the people in the waiting room were overweight. I also noticed that the nurse smokes! I saw her outside. Hey, you can't work in a surgery, telling people how to take care of themselves, when you clearly don't care about your own health. I don't trust her.

Here is the new anti smoking ad. I like it!

So long, can't you go to a different dentist? :frown:

Yes and no.
A dentist cannot take the teeth out. I need to see a specialist called an 'oral and maxiolfacial surgeon' or something. So, I have to ring up these surgeons and ask if they have a free appointment sometime soon...and then i have to get the dentist to write to the surgeon.

But, I have an appointment with my regular dentist on Monday for a check up. I will ask her what she can do and if she doesn't do anything, I'm very good at crying

Oh yeah, I should have known that. Homer: Doh!

Good luck finding one that can see you ASAP. Fingers crossed that your regular dentist can help.
