Cake, Photos, Orchid, Traffic
...
After 4 hours,I think I've finished my law assignment *jump*

So now I can blog

I'm doing a subject where we look at aspects of law affecting companies, under the wonderful Corporations Act 2001. For the exam, I have to print out the required sections of the act. One guy from my tutorial printed it out and it cost him $10 in print money!!
On Saturday night I commented on one girl's head band 'Hey, that's a nice headband!' and then she gave it to me
I'm still walking up the hill (you can see it in the distance here). I like the gates they have at this 'park': one for the human and a litle one for the dog
Some of the orchids are still flowering too. They get hardly any water here, the soil doesn't have any nutrients but they seem to grow somehow. If you tried to grow them in your garden at home, you'd fail miserably.
This is what the Adelaide traffic control centre looks like. Lots of screens
Fritz, the crazy German guy who you've never heard of before is ALREADY exporting Christmas Stollen to Australia! Actually, the Adelaide City council seems a bit crazy too; they've already put up Christmas decorations in the city centre (American/Canadian translation: downtown)!
Last night I cooked a recipe from 'Jamies Ministry of Food'; chicken with prosciutto. It tasted really good, except for the fact that the ham was really salty! Next time: unsalty ham.And that concludes today's blog post. Now I've got to finish my accounting theory assignment.....
Ahh I nearly forgot! It's time for a
German lesson
-
Ich esse gern Stollen=I like to eat stollen
-
...wenn es Ihnen gerade passt=When it suits you. So you can say....'Sie koennen essen wenn es Ihnen gerade passt'??? (German people, please correct me if I am wrong
) And the impolite is 'Du kannst essen wenn es DIR gerade passt.????
-
Schutzengel= guardian angel So, 'Fahre nie schneller als dein Schutzengel fliegen kann'...which means 'Never drive faster than your guardian angel can fly'

Bored, Uni, Me, Bus
...
After a month of doing nothing (getting up at 10am, staying in my PJs all day...) I went back to uni today.
The bus was full. The bus is my enemy. I day dream on the bus. I like short sentences

I like toast with honey. I like honey crackles. Snap crackle pop
My only class today was law. It wasn't very interesting and I nearly fell asleep.
It is expected that you know about the:
Common law system and doctrine of precedent
Common law and equity law
Interplay between general and statutory law
Basic law of contract
Law of agency

*doesn't remember*
I went pretty well. I got 2 credits and 2 distinctions....I got a credit for Finance!! 50% of people fail it!
This semester I'm doing two 3rd year (final year) courses *scared* But, I think it'll be ok

Oh, I never told you all that the commerce director guy said I can go on exchange. He said that I'm a 'splendid candidate for exchange'

So now I'm trying to find the cheapest way to get to Germany

I just need to get my dad to read my exchange application form. Then get someone who works at uni to write a reference for me. Hmm and I need to send them 2 passport sized photos. Am I supposed to smile? Should it be a passport mugshot?
Can I draw a passport sized photo of myself?I'm sitting here eating Cadbury 'Duo' chocolate. It's dark chocolate with milk chocolate on the top

But I have no one to eat it with

It's no fun getting fat by yourself.

Drive, Driving, Pollution, Law
...
I endangered the lives of others for the third time this morning, oh, and I also polluted the environment and used up some non renewable resources....I went driving!
I have to do 50 hours of driving before February 14....I've done 4....so only 46 to go! I've had two years in which to drive the 50 hours, but I was too busy trying to be clever to worry about that.
Some people (ones who think beer is a food group, never finished school and ones in dead-end jobs for example) have NO trouble getting their licence and doing the 50 hours...so me, being the good student and all should be a good driver, right? Wrong!
Lesson 1- I nearly drove into the footpath and the teacher had to use the brakes on his side of the car about 3 times
Lesson 2- I nearly drove into a drain and he had to use his brakes again
Lesson 3- I didn't slow down fast enough, I broke 2 road rules, I passed the first half of the assesment, but then failed the 2nd half, so I had to go back to the first half, when going around corners I have started letting go of the steering wheel which is against the law...and some old woman tooted at me!!!

I wonder if she would have tooted at her grandchild if THEY were learning!
I think I'm getting worse somehow....
Today I learnt how to drive using the different gears in an AUTOMATIC!!!! WHA??!!
I wanted to learn a manual, but as I'm dealing with a short time frame, I have to learn an automatic....I know someone who thinks 'girls who can drive manuals are cool'...

That means I'm waaayyyyy NOT cool-I can't even drive an automatic!
I'm looking forward to next week's lesson...I wonder how many rules I'll break hihihi I find it all quite amusing...except for the fact that my 16 year old sister has her licence and I don't...
Perhaps I just wasn't designed to drive...after all, if I was, I'd have wheels for legs!
