... blogging the suburbs since 2005...

It's been two weeks

It's been two weeks since I arrived back in Adelaide :frown:

It seems like I have been here forever, because there is absolutely nothing to do here. I wake up and look forward to going back to bed most days.

Adelaide is currently in its first November heatwave ever.

Wisdom teeth
Has anyone here had their wisdom teeth removed?

I've noticed that I have a wisdom tooth coming through my gum. Half of it is through my gum and the other half isn't. This makes eating VERY painful. The gum looks to be kind of puffed up in some places :frown: I eat baby food and watermelon. German baby food is better.

I read an article on Wikipedia about widsom teeth and now I'm scared! I don't know if I will need the tooth removed, but if I do, they might have to 'cut bone' EH? I have a dentist appointment next Monday so I'll find out then.... I wonder how much it costs....

Job
I need a job and haven't found one yet :frown: I applied for a data entry position and you need EXPERIENCE! Ok....I'm in the top 15% of students at uni, but yeah, apparantly don't have the specialist skills required to type stuff.

I can't go back to my old work/work in a bar. 1 I don't want to and 2. My ears are now ruined thanks to working in a loud environment. My left ear makes noises similar to that of a dial up modem and my right ear hums constantly.

Talk
I went back to my old school on Friday, to talk to some year 9 students about exchange. It was lots of fun  It was also strange to be back at my high school.

Now I'm going to errr...sit around doing nothing....yay :frown:

I had my wisdom teeth removed before they even had the chance to get through my gum :D
My dentist had said that my jaw was too small for my wisdom teeth so I had them removed.

I had three wisdom teeth out. They were seriously impacted but hadn't come through the gum so I had to have dental surgery.

Be happy they didn't have the chance to go through your gum! It hurts so bad. I feel like crying.
I rang some other dentists around my area and none of them have any free appointments :frown:

If you are in pain, you should see your regular dr. If will be a relief to have them removed...do it. I did and don't regret it.

I'm getting them out *scared but happy*
