Fruit Salad and Mixed Veg

... blogging the suburbs since 2005...

Last days

Unfortunately I am back in Adelaide. I'm feeling somewhat upset and sad :frown: My friends don't know I'm back (I told them but they forgot, you know, it's so hard to read your old emails)... and I don't even feel like meeting with them.

I cleaned my room today and after 6 hours of cleaning, I'm still not finished. I'm throwing everything out :D I don't see the point of keeping old books from when i was small just so they can collect dust. All I need fits into my suitcase.

Anyway, before I start getting to depressed, some photos:)

I went to a Russian (I think) supermarket on Thursday and bought pierogi:)

Then I baked teddys

On Thursday evening I travelled to Schwaebisch Hall with my favourite German. Waiting for us, was a big blackforest cake

On Saturday we went to the market in Schwaebisch Hall. After we put 1 Euro into this machine. The two puppets talk in Schwaebisch. They talked to us about school.

With the ingredients purchased at the market Mr M cooked duck, which was one of the ingredients. It was goooooood :D

That evening we went to the swimming pool. I hadn't been to a swimming pool for 5+ years...actually I think it is more 8 years...the last time I remember was in high school...but I didn't even go in the pool. I said I had an inner ear infection which prevented me from swimming hehe  Anyway, the swimming pool was lots of fun. There are slides! I tried swimming but didn't do it very well :frown:

Sunday: The Autobahn on the way to Wiesbaden.

Schloss Freudenberg in Wiesbaden. The Schloss is a bit like an 'experience museum' , where there are many activities and new things to discover.

For example, you can go to a bar where there is no light. The bartender is blind and he will tell you about himself and serve you something. There is a barefoot walk and you can do it blindfolded like I did. It was lots of fun and I laughed a lot:) There is an insect tour and a drum tour. You can also make your own candles.

After the Schloss we made our way to Frankfurt Airport :frown: We ate McDonalds for tea (I had a HAPPY MEAL!!!) and then it was time to board the plane  If I write further, I'll get even sadder, so I'll stop now.

Lunch for 1 EuroHmm

food on the first pic is originally called pelmeni, or in some cases "vareniki")) "pierogi" is something a bit different
