My Marzipan

I attempted to make marzipan today. I went to good ol' Foodland to find that they dont' sell ground almonds 
. So, I spent 30 minuted trying to grind up crushed almonds with a knife...
Once I had made the actual marzipan, I tried to melt some chocolate as I wanted to coat the marzipan in the choclate. However, the chocolate kept going solid...
Comments included
"This tastes like nail polish remover"
and I really liked the "Ewww what is this? *spits it into the bin*"
Here's what the 'great' recepie turned out like...Looks more like meat balls gone wrong
A tip for all those 'chefs' out there, be careful when using an electric mixer...
