Infected
In my previous post, I wrote about a widsom tooth giving me some troubles.
I woke up today and cried because the tooth/gum hurt so much. The gum around the tooth was so swollen that I had trouble eating apple and banana flavoured baby food!
I found an 'emergency' dentist in the Yellowpages, rang them up and got an appointment. As soon as the dentist looked in my mouth she said 'Yep, that's *insert long word here*', which means that my gum/tooth is INFECTED. That's why it is hurting so much. There is a flap of skin over the tooth and food is getting caught under it
I have an xray tomorrow, called an OPG scan and should get all four widsom teeth removed next week. The dentist said that it is probable that all other wisdom teeth will cause me trouble, so it is worth getting them all taken out. I still have a check up at my regular dentist check up on Monday...and I wonder what she will say. Her surgery was 'so busy' that they couldn't even see me for ten minutes, even though I was in pain!
Antibiotics to stop the infection
Syringe. I have to fill it up with water inorder to flush out all the junk from under the flap of skin, covering the tooth

Heatwave
The heatwave is still here. Although, yesterday evening, I went bike riding:) In Australia, it is the LAW to wear a helmet when riding a bike...ugh. The sound of an Australian Summer is no longer crickets (they are insects) but 'hummmmmmmm hummmmmmm hummmmmmmmm' from people's airconditioners.
Money
My money that I placed into a German bank account is on its way back to Australia. Yay! At the moment I have a total of $74. Hence, when the bank told me I would have to pay a $5 bank fee, I cancelled the account
Bad Tasting Cordial
My mother bought some cordial the other day. Cordial is sugary concentrated stuff that you put into water to make it 'taste better'. A lof of children will not drink tap water (especially Adelaide tap water) unless it has a flavour in it.
Anyway, this cordial tasted bad, according to my family. I smelt it and was nearly sick. I then complained to the company and they are now on the phone, only 20 minutes after I wrote my complaint email. Good service

Yep, me too. Hope I don't have to wait for an appointment with the surgeon. If I do, I'll find another surgeon
San:
I read that they can make your other teeth move. I just don't want it to change the shape of my face.

I'm sure once the infection goes down you'll feel a lot better.
