Bernard Kouchner, minister of Foreign Office of France (yes, the current one!) names the Uyghur people (Xinjiang, China) as ... Yogurts !!!:yikes:

I am French and I really want to cry !!! And even more when you listen to the rest of his speach !
How can we have such a half-witted at our Foreign Office ?:furious:
General De Gaulle must be turning in his grave !:frown:

It's heartbroken, they have ruined De Gaulle's France, ruined China-France relations which is meant not only for China and France but for the world, and they also ruined De Gaulle's independent spirit!

The most I am afraid of is that they probably will do worst, we still have three years of Sarkozy's reign to support...
The latest who made me proud of the status of France in international issues is Dominique de Villepin, at UNO in 14 Feb 2003 (he was the Foreign Office Minister at that time...). His political position and general behavior seems incredibly far, and even, it seems like a myth...
