Die Nacht, Arte
One of my favorite broadcast on French TV, "Die Nacht/La Nuit" [the night], is freely available as streaming on the web, until June 2th 2009.
But it is available only if you (and your computer) are in France, Germany, Belgium, and maybe Luxembourg.
Nevertheless, with an adequate French/German proxy, you should be able to watch that broadcast on the website Arte+7.
If you don't understand what you are watching, it is not a problem. It is normal. Just make your brain work and all the mighty will appear.
Surrealism is not died, Die Nacht/La Nuit is a good piece of evidence.

"Arte Plus 7". Un débat a suivi ce reportage, également
disponible.
Plus d'informations sur
le site d'Arte.
Note for English speakers : the video, about light weapons legal and illegal traffic and their consequences, is only available in a limited set of countries (France, Germany and Belgium ?).

From Ukraine to Indonesia, via Nigeria, Pakistan and China, meeting with workers who hardly gain what to survive. A film of a great beauty on damned of the Earth and the new working conditions.
This is a masterpiece. For all the people (I'm thinking about French people I knew...) who do think that their life is hard, that their job is difficult, that they weren't paid enough, it would be a good thing if they saw that film.
Then they may stop to be such indecent in the face of the world.
The film commenting voice and subtitles are in French, but I think that most of people can watch some parts, the pictures are strong enough.
The film is freely broadcast on the web until May 6th (21:00), on the site Arte+7 :

Die Nacht, Arte
One of my favorite broadcast on French TV, "Die Nacht/La Nuit", is freely available until May 6th 2008 (01:00 AM).
You can watch that broadcast on the website
Arte+7.
The broadcast details are on the
programs site of Arte. There you also can watch quite a lot of
small videos from previous releases. My favourites are the
two videos from YANG zhengzhong.

This month, the main subject is to have a lecture of short pieces of a writer work (Stéphane Zagdanski : don't know him before). With no arguing, no biography, no bloody critics, only the text, the text, the text. But as usual in "Die Nacht/La Nuit", some sound and visual experiments around that. Of course, this month is more for French speaking(reading) people, but I'm not sure that french may understand better than non-french...
"Die Nacht/La Nuit" means "The night" (in german/french). It is showed on Arte TV (public German+french TV) once a month, during the night from tueday to wednesday, the last Tuesday of the month. The "Plus7" web service of Arte then shows the broadcast for a week after (seven days).
"Die Nacht/La Nuit" is about... how to say ? In fact it is impossible to say what it is about. Each time it is about a very different subject from the previous. This is a visual and audio experiments broadcast. Sometime there are some modern art video extracts. Always very surprising. Don't expect a normal broadcast.
If you don't understand what you are watching, it is not a problem. It is normal.
Surrealism is not died, Die Nacht/La Nuit is a good piece of evidence.
