the Raid Browser

Lone player can "queue" in the Raid Browser, pick a Role, leave a note (ilvl, offspec, etc)
A raid can "queue" to search the Raid Browser for a certain Role. When the finder finds someone in that Role, it will pop up as an alert for the Raid Lead. Raid lead can check out the person, and decide if they want to PST the PUG player. If they decide not to, they go back in searching, as does the PUG and the PUG will never know they got picked over, they will only know if they get a PST from the Raid Lead.
Yes, similar to what it does now in theory, but if they add a couple automated features (searches for a PUG in the background so you're not constantly watching the browser), and allowed you to use it while queued for other things (dungeons, LFR, etc) it could actually get used.
This is exactly what the OLD raid browser used to do (what we had before the fully automatic click queue wait for the 'enter raid' button to appear) and NO ONE used it for anything!! Shame as it could be a powerful tool if used properly, but seriously you could sit there for hours and not see another single person queueing!! Of course this was before Cross-Realm stuff existed, but if Blizz implement something at this stage people will say 'meh, Openraid' can carry on using that!
It doesn't seem like Hollywood's quite as averse to funding more niche IPs any more, or at least that's how it feels with all these nostalgia-cashing in remakes and reboots of old series that hardly any of their usual demographic will remember. And we still get risky films coming out every year, it just depends on what studio you decide to hook up with.
Assuming they're still with Legendary, which I think has a lot of experience with big-budget fantasy/sci-fi/mythic-type films, they're probably fine. Especially if it's built on its own characters and story, so that anything happening to the game won't be as big of an issue to a practically standalone film.
