Power & Freedom

Men are powerful and the power lies in their need of freedom.
A woman told a man, "It's you, you let me free!"
That is the truth.

And, yet, when men reach their freedom they lose the power :)

But you know what? when a woman really gets the power, she is further and further from her freedom, because she loses her source of freedom.
That's happiness.

Sorry for butting in on your sharing of your views on freedom and power.
If women's power comes from their being free, so too is it with men. To be free should be, most of all, to be free from fear and free to decide and to choose.
I find the 2 aphorisms too negative and rather cynical. They are therefore not basically truthful nor sincere.
For women to blame men for making them sources of trouble because they, the men, had let them, the women, free is most insincere and demeaning to women. It is unbecoming of a human person, whether man or womean, to harbour such sentiments or "wisdom".
Women are not creatures of undignified demeanour or spirit. If that were so, then it consigns all women to a doomed fate, rendering them unfit for putting their talents and abilities to the benefit of all, unless they have men controlling them. This is ludicrous and insulting of womenkind. Only a bigoted man would think like this of women. Such men are enslaved.
Lastly, women are not just daughters of their mothers, they are daughters of their fathers too. The key to a woman's humanity and dignity comes too from the manly sincerity and courageousness of her father. If women were entirely the daughters of their mothers, and not of their fathers too, then how poor are the women and men of that race or nation or family.

How womens origin (that they daughters of thier mothers as the same way as fathers) relates to the similiarity with the men in the source of power?
To tell frankly i find in this 2 phrases no negative meaning. Ok, it may be negative because untruthful. But i read your comment and saw no arguments. May be it so, because may english is far from ideal and if it is, you think, the source of my misunderstanding sorry my ignornace.

No offence meant and no offence taken either. I thought perhaps there should be space given to the other view.
