Random babblings from an underproductive mind.

Evidence that the Sun still exists.

One might need it it one lives around here at the moment .

I completely failed to get out of the house yesterday; whatever funk grabbed my system on Friday still hadn't left, and, despite having slept from 18.00 'till 6.00, I managed to take an extended nap on the couch. But I'm no longer bright red, so progress.

Today, I shall see if me chums are up for a bit of cinema, and, failing that, I might go to Hagabion on my own. Lightening or no!

Or perhaps I'll launch a probe to see what's happened to Sun out there. Is it being interfered with by aliens? Are they bathing in our rightful rays?

Perfect cinema weather!Life's windy road.

Overdid it at work, I suspect.

At the Hagabion. I'm trying to save the films that people might want to see so that I can see them in company

Thanks... if i get out! Spent the afternoon finally fixing the localisation of my MacBook. It was convinced that I live in the G.M.T. zone. Apparently it's a problem particular to MacBooks when you've emmigrated from another Mac. NEEEERD!

Did the lightning ever show itself?

Gavin Sheedy 19. July 2009, 20:28

I heard some thunder, but it's been much quieter today. Except for the bloody trimmed mopeds driving under my window. Trying to sleep, guys! :smurf:

I miss lightning/thunder storms SO much. :frown: They never get them here in the Oregon/Washington area. I came from Montana...they had AWESOME storms! :D

Lightening was a relatively raw phenomena growing up. My grandma passed a terror of it through the family, but the blasé attitude of the Swedes has eroded that in me.

That's good. It's too beautiful to be afraid of. :o:
