The last stop before we got back to the hostel was to see El Tule, the worlds biggest tree. And the very fine church at Santa Maria that sits next to it. The interior of the church is stunning - gold trimmings galore and bright Christmas decorations abound. Sadly, the weather was overcast and it was getting dark, so the photos of the tree aren't quite so spectacular, but such is life.
