Flickr is full of interesting and clever photos, and this one instantly caught my eye. An Infrared filtered photo of a cow. There were a few others, including a heron. These sort of photos can be quite inspiring too....I'm off now to take a load of photos and see how many will work with infrared filters applied!

Is that infrared thing an actual camera filter thing? How do you do it with your FZ5? Or do you use your old Nikon?

I don't know how the photographer did the image of the cow. You can have a physical filter of do it through software. Myself, I use Nik Filters on Photoshop. Although I've just 'obtained' some onOne filters too which I shall be experimenting with!
