Something I grew up with.
When I was a kid we had only two TV channels and I think I may say they were much more interesting than what we have today. For some reason, people in charge for making our TV program liked British humourists and their shows more than others, so when I wanted a portion of a good laugh - who wouldn`t? - I just needed to wait sunday afternoon and watch one man talk show that I liked the most.

I am not sure why I liked him so much, when his show appeared for a first time on TV I was probably about 10. But the way he told jokes and stories was acceptable to me. And funny, even though I didn`t understand all of the slight levels of his humour like I do now
Later, when I was in high school Only Fools and Horses started to show on our TV and I think this was most hilarious and interesting show on Serbian TV ever - or at least during 80s and 90s. Whole generations grew up on this show and it probably formed a good part of our own sense of humour. Like with Dave Allen show, Only Fools and Horses were based on funny situations and smart but hilarious conversations. It was so popular that almost all of our televisions repeated it over and over during 90s. I think I saw somewhere they are repeating it again

Last one that appeared here.... I must correct myself here... the last one I watched on TV with interest, was, who else but Mr. Bean. His show was much different than the previous ones, based mostly on everyday situations played by, as Rowan Atkinson described it the best, "a child in a grown man's body". This one here was almost a cause of my own death about 15 years ago. I was alone at home, it was after midnight and I was already preparing myself for bed when I saw it on one TV program. They broadcasted just short clips like this one. The end was so unpredictable...

I started to laugh, holding my stomack while tears ran down my face. I tried to breath in but then I remembered what he did and hard spasm of laugh caught me again. After few more attempts I realised I would choke if I don`t catch some air VERY soon
