Warm place
Saturday, 31. October 2009, 21:42:15
I spent some time out today, I had a training then went to get my hair cut; in 5 p.m. I had a coffee with a friend in one of the pubs on river Danube. Even though it was warm during the day - over 10C/50F - suddenly it dropped to 3C/37.4F
Later, we had a short walk by the river then I escorted her to a bus station and went home. My hands were cold and nose started running - a sure sign that winter is behind the corner
Had plans to go out tonight, my friend invited me to photography exhibition, but felt tired and that special feeling of weariness when spending too much time out in the cold. Took a hot shower then sat in my warm and safe place....
Took this photo the other day when I was changing batteries in my camera. Somehow it felt warm just looking at it. Hope you are all at safe and warm place... somewhere...

That's a(nother) nice photo, by the way.
How'd your foot manage training?
Darko # 31. October 2009, 22:08
David, 10C in this part of a year is sometimes a bless
My foot is doing well, thank you, I tested it yesterday in an harder training than the one I had today, still have pangs (?) here and there, but it is recovering. I will give myself one more week though before I try with full training.

I was going to say something about 3c being cold, but I'm sure you can imagine what, so I won't
Dacotah # 31. October 2009, 23:01

We had a sunny day today after mostly rainy days for the last week. Beautiful weather, after tornadoes, thunderstorms and floods.
Good day.

hey ook at the life you have! I guess being single, tall and handsome and with no nagging wife at home and kids with stomach aches, make the cold feel like a bad thing
just kidding! I am glad you have a place that warms you heart and body
thanks for sharing,
the picture might be an "accidental" but sure attracts attention right away
so,
are you warmer now?

Anything under 20c feels too chilly to me. I actually prefer to be in 38c weather than anything else.

Carol, thank you
San, you wore shorts in 12C???
Star, from your and Linda`s comments I know you had a lot of raining lately. It surely feels nice to feel some sun rays on a tip of a nose
Graham, isn`t it usual weather for GB?
Linda, the best way to predict a weather is to take a look through a window every morning
Angeliki, I am warm now, thank you, just get up after 7 hours spent in bed
Kim, thank you
Kyren, no problem for you then
Eric, I like summer the most but other sesons has its charm and I can`t expect to have winter with temperatures above 20C
Mit, thank you, I bet you have your warm place too

Linda, you can an hour of sleep in the fall when we turn our clocks back. Loose an hour when we spring forward an hour.
Easy to remember "Fall back, spring forward".

It has been very nice here the last couple of days, 45 to 50F in the early morning but warming to 65 to 72F during the day. Lots of sun and no wind.
The few days before that it was 55F and windy in the middle of the day. Too cold for us Arizonans. I didn't dress warmly enough the first of those days. I wore short sleeves, capri pants and sandals and since I was working outside, near water and in the shade, I ended up having to leave after only 20 minutes because I was too cold. If it hadn't been so windy, I might have been ok.

Dark I am sorry if you are also hurt, I was just curious.
Btw, I do not have much to say about Latur so I do not write anything about it. I was mainly here to write on the caste system and I had written what I wanted to write, but a Brahman made derogatory comments on my blog so I had to delete the posts. I am rewriting my blog. Then I am leaving OC.
Zulia # 1. November 2009, 16:00
That Brahman, you dont care bout him! There is no caste or class here in oc! we are all equals n friendsz!

Darko # 1. November 2009, 18:55
Bud, I hope it will be soon. What is going on with her, I don`t see her around lately. Busy again?
Pam, I wear winter ski jacket and winter shoes for about a week now. No sandals for me until next summer
San, how could I forgot that??
Kyren, now I got it. You know, I don`t live in a country that ever had racist or caste problems. We do have chauvinism, both religious and nationalist, but I succeeded to stay out of it so far. I had to, half of my family are of Slovakian origins and the other half is from Croatia. My grandpa has Montenegring blood. And we all live in Serbia. One third of family are Roman Catholics, another third are Evangelistics and the last third are Serbian Orthodox Christians. How could I take sides unless I want to hurt someone I am very close to? I am sorry if you can`t stay above problems you have with people of higher caste. 1s and 0s here don`t tell your colour, religion, nationality... caste.

Autumn is really here, with grey and damp weather. We have sundown at 16:30 already. I miss the sun! Thank goodness it's less than two months until we start heading towards lighter times again

It isn't warm here, but I have two blankets and lots of warm thoughts.
When needed, a good cup of cocoa or a hot toddy can do wonders too..
Hope you been well, Dare..and that things are less stressful at work...
