Walking over sky, following a bird...

Early snow in November

It was windy and rainy this morning but no one expected it will start snowing :left: It rarely does this early in November.

I put a flash button on, so you could see snow flakes. The next one is a view from my window, ISO set to 400 so it looks a bit lighter than it actually is.

One funny thing, I have find this in some of the accounts on FB

Early snow...gee, my area is expect to get a light flurry too.

fineolwine 3. November 2009, 19:03

You can keep your snow, Dare. It is another beautiful, sunny, 73 F. here is Tyler, Tx. today, and I think I am going to get out of the house for awhile.

Last image

Darko 3. November 2009, 19:12

Andy, is it going to be today? :left:

Linda, I was always a sharing person so I will send at least the half of it in Tyler`s direction P:

Enjoy your walk

fineolwine 3. November 2009, 19:47

I know how generous you are, Dare, but no, thank you, you may keep your snow. I know you don't REALLY want to share any of that niceness to Texas.

I've Brought These Gifts For You, They're Up In My Bum 3. November 2009, 20:09

Oh, that first photo!

dirk 3. November 2009, 20:18

:eyes: really?! the first snow :eyes: hope you can enjoy it ...

   like the swineflewT  ... in Germany they started mass vacciation last week ... but hardly anyone is participating :left:

fineolwine 3. November 2009, 20:26

I put a jacket on when it gets below 70F

Adele 3. November 2009, 20:36

Hmmm. Wonder if it's going to be a bitter winter. It was certainly cold enough in central Canada last month.

r♡se 3. November 2009, 20:42

Yikes!
There are reports of snow coming closer to Oslo every day now...

Dacotah 3. November 2009, 21:03

 I love snow.

Darko 3. November 2009, 21:04

Linda, I will share it with you because I know how much you want it P:

Kimmie, 5 minutes later it became even stronger; now it stopped

Graham, too much informations

Adele, it certainly started early here. Last time we had a snow in November I think it was after the 20th. I guess Saskatchewan is covered with snow by now :left:

Rose, and somehow it jumped over Oslo and landed here :irked:

Darko 3. November 2009, 21:07

Carol, me too, especially when I am in a warm room P:

fineolwine 3. November 2009, 21:23

That's the way I'll take my snow too---in a cozy room, preferably with a roaring wood fireplace, drinking coffee or something with a man I love and snuggling up to same.

Darko 3. November 2009, 21:28

Replace a man with a cute girl and it would work for me too P:

Dacotah 3. November 2009, 21:49

fineolwine 3. November 2009, 21:54

So, we are all three agreed---it's more fun with a significant other! p:

Angeliki 3. November 2009, 22:07

darn! that is early! lets hope the rest of the winter is gentle with you!

PainterWoman 3. November 2009, 22:10

Love the photos Darko. The flakes look like twinkling stars in the first one and love the lights from the windows in the second.

We are a hot and sunny 96F today. This week is record highs for November!

Mina 4. November 2009, 00:26

:eyes: Wow... that first picture where you can actually see the snowflakes is surreal almost....

And the second, so lovely it looks like a postcard... I love the way the sky looks when it snows, and most beautiful, how pretty it looks underneath a streetlight... ahhh...

We got snow all day last month, but it didn't last, which was a good thing... nothing even accumulated on the ground. IMO, it may snow about two weeks before Christmas or so, and quit directly after new years.

San 4. November 2009, 01:05

Let it snow! I can't wait!

Stardancer 4. November 2009, 01:34

I love snow, but it's kinda rare that we see any significant snowfall here. That may be different this year. Just a hunch.

That swineflew shirt is hilarious, Darko.

*sweetly* Sanshan, you jinx my nice mild winter and you :sing: just might find yourself with shoveling duty. P:

Kiran 4. November 2009, 02:04

Swine flew? :D

fineolwine 4. November 2009, 03:02

Wonder if it's any kin to Pink Floyd Pigs on the Wing? Tehehe

Nathalya risis 4. November 2009, 04:36

Woow...snow :eyes:
I never touch snow darko !! :D

fineolwine 4. November 2009, 04:55

Ris, it's cold and wet and nasty after it's been on the ground for a day.

Darko 4. November 2009, 05:35

Angeliki, we have a saying here that when you look at the morning you can see what the resto fo the day will be. If this is a morning of our winter, then.... :D

Rose You need to have your share, too. You know that :irked:

Pam, I remember November in 1989. I was in army and until November 20th it was about 25C/77F. You can`t imagine how cold it was after that :insane:

Mina, I don`t think this one will last, too. maybe there will be some of it on the roofs but not on the ground :D

San, how much snow do you have in Vancouver usually?

Star, with our climate changes we can`t be sure about anything. Few years agou we had about 20C/68F in January. It looked nice, blue skies and sunshine but I felt like a drunk for a few days :faint:

Kyren :D

Linda, I don`t know, there is a website on the bottom of a pic, I will go to see what is it about

Risis, it is nice to see it falling but in cities it became slushy and brown/grey very soon :yuck:

San 4. November 2009, 05:45

It usually doesn't snow much here, some years nothing. But the past couple of years have been incredible! I'm not originally from Vancouver having grown up in the interior of the province where we have way more snow. I love it.

Here's a few pictures from last year's dump...

Darko 4. November 2009, 06:04

You had to ski to work? :eyes:

P:

Darko 4. November 2009, 06:04

You reminded me of that pie :chef:

Sorry, not you, I wanted to say I remember that pie. I am still on my first coffee Homer: Doh!

fineolwine 4. November 2009, 06:54

The pictures were beautiful to look at, but don't want it around me. My favorite of those pics were the pie and the lasagna.

Stardancer 4. November 2009, 07:21

Did somebody say "lasagna"?

:chef:

:D

Goodnight/morning folks. Going to bed. Have rehab tomorrow.

Darko 4. November 2009, 10:25

Linda and Star, it is a nice combination, lasagna then pie :chef:

Rose, in return you may have a piece of lasagna and a pie that San will make for all of us

Linda, good luck with rehab

Yeah, McLeod, gonna tell me cashmere makes you itch too? Well, there goes that idea for a cashmere robe for your Christmas!

fineolwine 5. November 2009, 00:52

Smartass local authority. You are gonna get yours. Just wait! Sheep, goat, are you SURE?

fineolwine 5. November 2009, 01:27
