Before 2012, Government of Rwanda had 95 oals to implement as it has been declared by the Prime Mister Dr. Pierre Damien HABUMUREMYI, in the 10th leadership retreat held at gako on 3-6 March. by the end of 2011, results from the project assessments show implemented resolutions on a happy average of over 81, 1% in 2012 yet in previous 3 years it was 55% in 2009, 53% in 2010 and 74 in 2011. He was standing for 77 goals of 95 that were implemented.
Implementation took the increase and scattered electricity up to more than 12.238MW, 264created jobs to serve more than 1,435jobless people. Cleary, There have been created over 20,000 other projects which have been added the previous and international ones. The more success, the more efforts needed in today’s workplace! Are leaders satisfied enough to stop flying high? Not really.
It is not surprising to have some entrepreneur areas that do not fulfill their requirements as suggested by the wide range of the government. “Even if much have been done, we have not reached on the level we need. Customer care is still a big challenge in some places in the country. Cases are many: in hotels and restaurants, long lines in banks and government institutions, hospitals and other places. There are the issues of some government institutions that delay to pay entrepreneur who offers them their services. At this point, I cannot ignore that there some entrepreneur who offers bad services to the government. However all these challenges are being taken serious and look forward how they can be corrected.”
Despite the challenges, projects had to roll up in order to achieve planned goals. Among challenges to implemetations the lack of sufficient professionals is at the first place and the second is cash flow that is not available for the right time so that all planned activities can be done timely. The truth is that when you know where the problem is, you can create new ways to overcome them.
For entrepreneurs to succeed, every concerned leader is called to revise grievance on how projects are being managed due to poor design, poor contract preparations, and delay of tenders, contract of activities that are not well done and cause negative consequences to the government due to insufficiency on how activities have been followed.
“We need the change in projects management and leaders are demanded to keep an eye on projects so that we can achieve our goals in fast way and punish those who delay them.” The Prime Minister confirms, by suggesting that failing to do so, will be a proof that entrepreneurs are not competent and the unconsistent. Such public figures need to be changed.
Keeping eyes on projects means going forward as the the most significant aim is getting around 100%. Entrepreneurs and the general people should put their efforts together in order to raise the country’s develoment whithout thinking that commitments are supposed to come from one side of the concerned.
