Fringe Series

TV shows are bound to sound boring if all of themconcentrate on the same concept and storyline of a Drama. American viewers sure used to varieties and not the same ol' boring dramas. Fringe TV series is one show that effectively caters of this need of American viewers. Only 2 seasons of this series have been on air so far and with just these 2 seasons, this show has created much of a rave. It is the joint effort of J. J. Abrams, Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzmanthat bore the concept of this unusual Sci-fi TV series, Fringe. This series was launched on the 9th of September 2008 on Fox channel.

towards reducing the bothersome switching of channels, TV series of very superior quality were launched. Fringe extends maximum quality time to viewers with its storyline and minimal time of commercials that usually rule the broadcasting time for any series. In fact the restrained amount of commercials broadcasted in between the telecast with limited time period of 6 minutes. Although this time restrain wasn't exactly followed in the second series that followed on 17th of September 2009.

The storyline is based in the investigations that involve examination of unusual events that happen anywhere in the world at the division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) operating out of Boston. These investigations are done by the means of gizmos or procedures that involve high-quality technology and science. The mishaps investigated can be related to anything like teleportation, obscure diseases, psychic powers and even chimeras.

The main characters include Olivia Dunham, the agent who's been assigned this investigation, Walter Bishop, a fringe science scientist who went crazy and was incarcerated into a mental institution following an accident in the lab and Peter Bishop, his son who's pretty handy and is assigned by Dunham to help his father in whatever way possible. Together these three characters form the main cast of this interesting TV series. The character of Olivia Dunham is portrayed by Anna Torv; Dr. Walter Bishop's role is played by John Noble; and the character of Peter Bishop is played by Joshua Jackson.

Other characters of Fringe have been played by-- Phillip Broyles (Lance Reddick-boss of the Fringe Division in season 1), Astrid Farnsworth (Jasika Nicole- Dunham's assistant in season 1), Nina Sharp (Blair Brown, CEO of a firm Massive

Dynamic) and William Bell (Leonard Nimroy- Chairman of Massive Dynamic). There are just 2 characters that have been deleted from the script of the series and they are that of Charlie Francis (Kirk Acevedo)-Olivia's closest friend in the FBI John Scott (Mark Valley) Olivia's Ex-lover and FBI partner. Episodes of Fringe can be viewed weekly and therefore viewers never the get the feel of missing an episode even if they busy in some work throughout the week.
