Recruiter Places Google Maps, Javascript, and AJAX Application Developers

, ,

I've recently been in touch with Christopher Lozinski, a "headhunter" who specializes in placing programmers in hard to find jobs. Chris has a number of a "specialty" boards where he publicizes job opportunities and calls for contract labor but he also manages a database of programmers that he can quickly refer to companies who have a demand for a hire. Recently Chris has added a board meeting the demand for AJAX and more specifically, Google Map application developers and programmers. The Google Maps, Javascript and AJAX Jobs site can be found at http://javascript.freerecruiting.com/ where you can use the handy form to provide Chris with your resume... cool! (Please be sure to tell him that Glenn from GISuser referred you)

Not to take food from the mouth of headhunters, but there are some free sites where GIS and mapping-oriented developers can post, such as GJC.org. Incidentally, I'm looking for some good Washington-DC area developers with AJAX experience, as well as ArcIMS, Oracle Spatial, SDE and Java/J2EE. - dsmith@synergist-tech.com

ya good point Dave and yes, these services may be $$ so they are likely geared towards larger companies - a small comment... I've seen tons of free boards etc.. where developers can post their resumes, however, how many recruiters actually have the time to search through them looking for candidates? Great idea in principle but not terribly realistic. We have a forum at GISuser.com where people post their resumes but its likely tough for people to actually score a hire using these resources. Of note... perhaps little know.. the Career Center at GISuser.com also offers Free Job posting and is likely one of the largest and busiest community job boards now serving the GIS industry.. unlike most others listing is free and there's been hundreds of positions already listed this year. If you need to locate a developer consider posting your ad there as well. See http://www.gisuser.com/component/option,com_jobline/Itemid,132/

cheers
