After a few hiccups related the the v4 release today, Microsoft has now got the v3 control working again. This should mean that apps running on the v2, v3 or v4 map controls should all be functioning again. Thank you Microsoft for reacting promptly and getting this fixed!
Following the release of v4 (Codename "Spaceland") the VVE team decided it'd be a great time to launch a VE Wiki . The wiki is a really easy place to access and share VE code snippets with your fellow developers. Thanks again to John from Soul Solutions in Australia for helping us get the wiki up.

I click and click on the map of Rome all over the Palazzo Di Venezia and keep getting the "sorry, that's not right" I'm ready to smack it, any helpers???
By anonymous user, # 28. April 2006, 18:47:08
To vrgoaties: The hotspot is not actually the palazzo, or the piazza. in fact, it's just to the left of it. reassemble the puzzle if need be and WATCH TO SEE WHERE THEY ADDED something. It's an actual cross they smacked onto it. See that large white thing? Up and to the left. When you click it, you go, "Oh, WTF, it was right there!"
