Kissing up to the boss? Stay late don't come in early!

Some interesting research results today caught my attention and I have to say I would totally agree. The jist of it is that workers that stay late get more kudos than those that come in early (bad news for us early birds!) I can totally relate to this as for years at a former job I was always the early bird... the problem though was that nobody else was around. Then, by the time 4:30 came around I was done.. spent... had it! Others who stroll in at 9 or even 9:30 are hanging around long after 5 or 6 PM and getting more perks like seeing the boss and having others walk out the door watching them stay hard at work.. so does the early bird get the worm? HEre's the words direct from the PR... Workplace early birds who prefer to put in overtime hours before the start of the workday don't get the same recognition for their efforts as those who work later into the evening after most people have left the office, according to MRINetwork.
