About me
I like to hang out with my friends, and meet new ones. I like to talk almost about any subject, and I also love music, movies and travels. I enjoy reading a good book, and I specially like science fiction, espionage and historical novels. I am also interested in space exploration and of course, my profession, which is amazing and I love it.My work
I am a computer programmer specialized in dynamic corporate web sites development within intranets. In this area I am very interested in web standards, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and XML. I use a variety of technologies such as PHP+MySQL, ASP, MSSQL and ASP.NET. I've also been playing around with AJAX for a while, mostly through the use of the Yahoo! UI library. More recently I've been getting into the world of Ruby and Rails, which is fascinating. In other fields of programming and Computer Sciences, I am also interested in theory of computation, advanced data structures and object oriented programming and design. I like the Open Source philosophy and I enjoy using Linux a lot. As a matter of fact, I've thought about contributing to some Open Source project out there, but I haven't found the time or the right project yet. Also, although needless is to say, I love the Opera Web Browser.
