So is good to see that engineers in charge of Google's online aggregator are listening the feedback, and that several new features and improvements are on the way to see the light.

As for aggregators, I wouldn't force on any specific one. There are desktop-based aggregator applications and web-based. I personally prefer web-based because I can access it from anywhere, but you could also have a desktop-based aggregator to mantain a backup or local copy of feed entries in your computer. As you can imagine from this post, I suggest Google Reader as my (web-based) aggregator of choice.
