Push up challenge

Yup, it's starting. No we're not talking push up bras - we're talking military style pushups. Super basic, crank them out, bang.

So here's the way it works. Super simple. On day 1, you do one pushup. Every day after that, you do one more pushup than the day before. Get to 100 and you're done.

At day 1, you bet it's easy. But I'm not one of these fitness fanatics, so my current pushup max is likely somewhere between 10 and 20. But the way I see it is if I'm doing one more each day, I'm getting all the training I need to push myself further. One at a time? This sounds great, let's do it.

And though, again, I'm not an expert, what I have heard is that these body weight exercises are some of the best kinds for you. Same idea with dips, chin ups, pull ups, sit ups. A lot of ups. Think “ups” and you're in the right area.

So what do you say? Are you up to the challenge as well? If you read this, what do you say to starting today and coming with me on this thing. Worst case scenario we end up in better shape, and let's face it. With all this floor lying around us, there's no excuse like, “I don't have time to go to the gym today.” Good going, let's do it.
