My own son was almost taken when he was three. I had my daughter in my arms and this white car drove up and the passenger side window rolled down and called to him and he went running, if I would not have yelled for him to stop, who knows what would have happened. The car drove away real fast. I called the police and the police said exactly what you just did, it was near Christmas and this car had been spotted before looking for certain "types" and my children fit those types that these people were looking for. I lived at that time very close to a school. My children have blonde hair and blue eyes. My son at three was something that this couple were looking for. The police just told me to be very careful. My son was confused, he thought it was grandma or someone like that because the person had yelled out it was grandma. It is hard on young children because they do get confused.

There was a study down over here and almost all the children went with the guy whose puppy was sick. The parents were shocked, but children do that. It does not take much for children to go with a stranger.

I am just lucky I screamed loud enough to stop him in his tracks before he was close enough to the car. That was a scary day for me. One I will never forget. I just hope they find this little girl. I can't believe these guys who actually take children out of their beds. That is so bold.
