In the distance a child cries

He comes to her room
slowly creeping in
he looks at her with
hunger in his eyes.
He thrusts himself upon her
not hearing her pleas
she struggles with him
trying to escape.
In the distance a child cries.
She tries to run and hide
from his strong ways
fighting against him
relentlessly giving up.
He leaves the room with
satisfaction in his eyes
he hungers no more.
In the distance a child cries.

Your poem is concise and poignant and it raises vivid images through its simple yet cogent narrative. Thank you for sharing this.
I also see that there are other poems on your pages. I will backtrack and read them as soon as I can. I have placed you on my Friend list but if you do not wish this please pm me and I will reverse what I have done.
Best wishes,
Lokutus
